Fog of War Fog of War

Scouting in StarCraft 2 is vital, because if you know what your opponent is up to, you can easily counter him. Blizzard’s games are extremely well-balanced, that’s why applying the proper counter measure is the way to victory. In the beginning of the game, you have to send at least one of your workers to find and scout your opponent’s base. However, if you move away your unit or it gets killed, the vision you once had is replaced with fog of war and you can no longer see what is going on there.

Raising an Army

Each race has unique methods to maximize its production capability.

Terran Reactor

Terrans have add-on reactors which can be connected to most buildings. The reactors double their productivity and as a result you get two units of the same kind without wasting more time. This way you can make a massive army in no time.

Protoss Chrono Boost

Protoss have an ability called “Chrono Boost” which can be activated from their main base. This function boosts the speed of researches and production of units.

Zerg Queen

The Zerg’s Queens have a Spawn Larva ability that boosts their naturally increased productivity by forcing their main base to spawn more and more larvae.
