Zerg Swarm

Zerg Symbol The Zerg Swarm is a real, breathing nightmare of highly evolved killing beasts. “The Swam” received its well-deserved name thanks to their ridiculously countless ranks. They all obey a single hive-mind. Their commander now is the Queen of Blade, who once was the Terran ghost Sarah Kerrigan.

The maddeningly thing about these disgusting race is that they keep flooding, no matter of their losses. They can flood and corrupt an entire new planet in just a moment. The Swarm is constantly evolving and some of them can regenerate pretty fast, while others even can mutate into a new species with whole arsenal of new abilities. So if you have the guts to guide a ruthlessly efficient and highly adaptable   army of aliens to victory you could be ready to lead the Zerg.

Zerg Characteristics

Strength in numbers

If you let the Zerg race develop without interruption, you will soon be overrun. The Swarm can gather many troops in no time at low cost.

Strength in numbers

Creep

This is the Zerg’s ground, on which they can build their nasty buildings. Building at the end of a creep, will expand the cursed land; another way is to use the overlord’s ability to generate creep in order to devastate the land and prepare it for construction. The creep also increases the movement speed of the units that are currently on it. Creep

Burrow

The Zerg’s ground units can research the ability to burrow themselves. This way they can become invisible and perform deadly ambushes. Some of them can regenerate health points much faster and some can move while burrowed. Burrow

Nydus Worms

Something like the Protoss matrix but much more primitive and disgusting. These gigantic worms create many underground networks for the Zerg's beasts. They travel through their stomach and jump out of the blue at their enemies. Nydus Worms
